Get Your Business Found on Google and ChatGPT

To get found on Google Maps and ChatGPT, you need a complete Google Business Profile, a steady flow of reviews, a website with a clear page for each service and area, and the same business details everywhere, because those are what Google and AI tools read when they decide who to recommend.

How it works

How Google and AI tools pick who to show.

When someone searches "plumber near me" or asks ChatGPT "who's a good accountant in Katy?", the answer isn't random. Google and AI tools pull from the same few places: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your website and the other sites that mention your business.

If those places are complete, clear and agree with each other, you're easy to recommend. If your profile is half filled in, your site is vague or your address is different in three places, you get skipped for a business that's easier to understand.

The four pieces

What actually gets you found.

Google Business Profile

This is the listing that shows up on Google Maps and in the map results. Fill in every field: categories, services, hours, service area, photos and a description that says what you do in plain words. Then keep it current.

Reviews

Reviews are one of the biggest things Google Maps weighs, and people read them before they reach out. Ask every happy customer, make it easy with a direct link, and reply to every review, good or bad.

Site structure

Your website should have a page for each main service and the areas you cover, with clear titles that use the words customers search. One page that lists everything is hard for Google to match to a specific search.

AI search

Tools like ChatGPT and Google's AI answers favor businesses they can understand and double-check. Clear service pages, answers to common questions, matching business details and code that labels who you are all help.

Do it yourself

Five things you can do this week.

  • Claim your Google Business Profile and fill in every field
  • Make your business name, address and contact details match everywhere they appear
  • Send your last 10 happy customers a direct link to leave a review
  • Add a page to your site for your top service, with your city in the title
  • Ask ChatGPT who it recommends for your service in your area, and note who shows up

None of these cost money. They're also the first things I check when I look at how visible a business is.

Where I come in

When you'd rather have it handled.

Most owners know they should be doing this and never find the time. My monthly plan handles the website side month after month: new service and area pages, better titles and descriptions, answers to the questions your customers ask, and the code that helps Google and AI tools read your site. I can also help you fill in your Google Business Profile and set up a simple way to ask for reviews.

Each month you get a short report showing which Google searches you appear for and whether AI answers mention your business, plus what I'll work on next.

I won't promise a #1 spot, because nobody controls Google or ChatGPT. What I can show is real work: after I rebuilt the site for Corporate Relocators, a Houston commercial mover, it went from about 1 website lead a month to 30+ since April 2026, and as of October 2026 it ranks #1 on Google for "commercial movers houston".

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

How do I show up on Google Maps?+

Claim and fully fill in your Google Business Profile, pick the right categories, add your service area, hours and photos, and collect reviews steadily. A website with a page for each service and area helps Google trust the listing.

How do I get my business on ChatGPT?+

There's no form to submit. ChatGPT and other AI tools recommend businesses they can find and understand across the web. A clear website with service pages and FAQs, a complete Google Business Profile, reviews and matching details everywhere give them what they need.

How long does it take to show up?+

Fixes to your profile and site can start showing within weeks, but ranking higher usually takes months and depends on your competition. The monthly report shows what's changing along the way.

Do I need a new website to get found?+

Not always. Sometimes your current site just needs better pages and titles. If it's slow or missing the basics, a redesign or the $300 one-page site may be the faster fix.

Ask about a monthly plan.

Send your site link and what you'd like to show up for. I'll reply within one business day.
