Case study

How a Houston mover went from about 1 lead a month to 30+.

Corporate Relocators is a Houston commercial moving company. I ran sales there for nearly 8 years, so I knew the problem firsthand. The market got more competitive, lead flow slowly dropped and the old website brought in maybe 1 lead a month. It didn't show the company's 45+ years of combined experience, its certifications or its facilities, and it gave visitors no clear next step.

In April 2026 I rebuilt the site from the ground up: a page for each service, past projects, service areas, resources and an FAQ, client logos and certifications up front, site-wide search, a walkthrough request form and the technical SEO behind it all.

Since the new site went live, it has brought in 30+ website leads, and as of October 2026 it ranks #1 on Google for "commercial movers houston".

Warning signs

Signs your site needs a redesign.

  • It looks cramped or broken on a phone
  • Pages take more than a few seconds to load
  • People visit, but few of them ever reach out
  • It doesn't say clearly what you do, where you work and how to reach you
  • Your services, photos or team changed, but the site didn't
  • You don't show up on Google for the services you actually sell

If two or three of those sound familiar, a redesign usually pays off faster than patching the old site one page at a time.

What changes

What I change, and what I keep.

What I keep

Your domain, the pages that already bring in Google traffic, your best photos and the wording customers respond to. Throwing out what works is how redesigns lose ground.

Clear structure

A page for each service and area you cover, with navigation that gets visitors where they want to go in one or two taps.

Copy that sells

I rewrite headlines and page text in plain words that answer what customers ask before they reach out. I spent years in sales, and I write pages the way I'd pitch.

Proof up front

Reviews, certifications, client logos and past projects placed where people decide, not buried on a page nobody opens.

Lead capture

Quote, booking or walkthrough request forms that send each lead straight to your inbox, with a record of where it came from.

Search setup

Fast pages, clear titles, redirects from old page addresses to new ones and the behind-the-scenes code that helps Google and AI tools like ChatGPT understand your business.

Protecting your rankings

A redesign shouldn't cost you Google traffic.

The biggest risk in a redesign is losing the search traffic you already have. When page addresses change and nobody points the old ones to the new ones, Google finds broken pages and your rankings can slip.

Before I change anything, I list your current pages and check which ones bring in visitors. Those keep their address or get a redirect to the new page that covers the same thing. After launch I send the new sitemap to Google so it finds the new pages quickly.

How it works

Four steps from old site to new.

  1. 01

    Send me your current site

Use the form below. I'll look at what's working and what isn't, and reply within one business day.

  2. 02

    Plan the new site

We agree on the pages, features and what carries over. You get a written quote and timeline.

  3. 03

    I rewrite and rebuild

I write each page, build the new site and share a working version for your feedback.

  4. 04

    Launch without losing ground

I set up redirects, connect your domain, launch and send the new sitemap to Google.

Not ready for a full redesign? One new page might be enough to start. The $300 one-page site covers one page, and more can be added later.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers.

How much does a website redesign cost?+

It's quoted to fit, based on how many pages you have, how much needs rewriting and which features carry over. You'll get the price in writing before I start.

Will I lose my Google rankings?+

Not if it's done carefully. I keep the pages that rank, redirect old page addresses to new ones and send your new sitemap to Google after launch. Rankings can shift for a short time while Google rereads the site.

Can I keep my domain and email?+

Yes. Your domain stays yours. I only change the settings that point it at the new site, so your email keeps working.

Can you redesign a site someone else built?+

Yes. Most redesigns start from a site someone else built. Send me the link and I'll tell you what can carry over.

How long does a redesign take?+

It depends on the number of pages and how much needs rewriting. I'll give you a timeline with your quote. Having your photos and details ready is what speeds it up most.

Send me your current site.
